The Newhall office for The Department of Motor Vehicles at 24427 Newhall Ave. will close on Friday, September 23 at 5 p.m. for renovations. The office will reopen on Friday, November 18, at 8 a.m.

New modular furniture, fresh carpet, modernized signs, and new electrical and data cables are some of the upgrades.
While the DMV is getting its makeover, customers can visit the following neighborhood field offices while the renovations are ongoing:
-Arleta, 14400 Van Nuys Blvd., 12 miles
-Van Nuys, 14920 Vanowen St., 17 miles
-Winnetka, 20725 Sherman Way, 22 miles
You may apply for registration and renewals and schedule appointments for other facilities on the DMV website.
